Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
- funded by Department of Social Services (DSS)
The CHSP provides assistance for people 65 years and above (50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples ATSI) secured until June 2022.
Services offered by the Tailem Bend Community Centre include;
- home maintenance,
- modifications,
- goods and assistive equipment,
- meals,
- transport and
- social support classes.
The delivery area is the Coorong District Council population 5525 distance 8836km2. The towns serviced include:

Registration for services is available by calling My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 - the TBCC CHSP service is called Coorong Community Links Combined Program – Tailem Bend Community Centre or Coorong District Council - Tailem Bend Community Centre (TBCC).
