Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
- funded by the Department of Health
The CHSP provides assistance for people 65 years and above (50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people ATSI) secured until June 2024.
Services offered by the Tailem Bend Community Centre include;
- home maintenance,
- modifications,
- goods and assistive equipment,
- meals,
- transport and
- social support classes.
The CHSP delivers services to eligible people within the Coorong District Council area, Aged Care Planning Region (Population: 5,463. Distance: 8,831km2). The towns serviced include:
