Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
- funded by the Australian Government of Health and Aged Care.
The CHSP provides assistance for people 65 years and above (50 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people ATSI) secured until June 2025.
Services offered by the Tailem Bend Community Centre include;
- home maintenance,
- modifications,
- goods and assistive equipment,
- meals,
- transport,
- social support group,
- social support individual and
- domestic assistance - new service starting
The CHSP delivers services to eligible people within the Coorong District Council area, Aged Care Planning Region (Population: 5,463. Distance: 8,831km2). The towns serviced include:

Service Agreement
The Service Agreement is an example of the agreement that will be completed by TBCC staff once you choose TBCC as your service provider. We will discuss your individual needs with you and clearly explain any costs associated with the services. Services will only proceed once you have reviewed and agreed to the terms of the agreement.
